The Title Game is now 3x Bigger

Throughout it's history, the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship has taken place over 3 divisions: I, II, and III, each being played in their own location and at their own time. Coaches, players, and reporters realized that the Division I Championship attracted the majority of the audience, while Division II and III had less people supporting them simply because of location inconvenience, lack of popularity, or limited press about the event.
In the Spring of 2027, Towson University will host Championship Weekend, the inaugural NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship for all three divisions. Division I semifinals will take place on Friday, May 28th, with Division II and III National Title games on Saturday the 29th. Finally, the Division I Championship will be played on Sunday, May 30th.
Championship Weekend allows women's lacrosse fans from everywhere to gather in one location and support all three divisions at once, giving every player the big stage that they've earned.
History is in the making for collegiate lacrosse!
